NOTES FOR TEAM MANAGERS
Want to help your team? Consider being a team manager!
Each team will have a parent volunteer serving as team manager. The team manager handles distributing information from SOAR, assisting the coach with any phone calls and emails that need to be sent, and other organizational tasks.
Becoming a team manager is one of the best ways you can help the coaching staff! Here's a brief job description:
Administrative
- Work with your coach to organize the season…
- initial player contact
- set up a phone/email tree to get information to players (changes in times, cancellations, special events, etc)
- snack schedule
- uniform sorting and distribution
- team party
- Call team meetings with all the parents, at beginning of season and afterwards as needed.
- Attend and/or communicate with SOAR Team Manager Coordinator regarding meetings, events, and administrative questions that your team has, etc.
- Handle all paperwork (sign ups, schedules, etc.) for the team.
- Re-Register your team for the spring season at the end of each fall season (Note: teams will stay together for one year). Have players complete a Registration form, Parent Agreement and Player Code of Conduct, and give to the SOAR Registrar.
Point of Contact for the Team/SOAR
- Organize your parents to help at the SOAR functions: Opening Ceremonies, Games, special events.
- Monitor your parent’s sportsmanship at games. Bring to your coach’s attention any situations that should be addressed.
No Coaching Duties!
Team Managers are not team coaches and have no coaching duties.
FALL YOUTH SOCCER REGISTRATION
Fall Soccer Registration is open through Aug 6. You can download the registration form and mail in your registration. Online registration is under construction, but may not be available for fall. Please register using the form this season!

Summer Soccer continues through Thursday August 5.
